How can I check if my cookies are turned on?

On a mobile device:

In Chrome for Android:

  • open Chrome,
  • go to the "More" menu (the three dots in the top-right corner) then "Settings" and "Cookies",
  • make sure cookies are turned on.

In Safari for ios:

  • open "Settings" from the home screen,
  • find "Safari" within the list of apps,
  • make sure "Block All Cookies" is turned off.

On a computer:

In Google Chrome, open up the browser:

  • click the Chrome menu icon,
  • select “Settings”,
  • under "Privacy and security", click "Cookies and other site data",
  • select "Allow all cookies".

In Safari, you open up the app then:

  • click "Safari",
  • select "Preferences",
  • under the "Privacy" tab, make sure "Block all cookies" is unselected.

In Edge, you open up the browser then:

  • go to "Settings and more" (the three dots in the top-right corner),
  • select "Settings",
  • under "Cookies and site data" make sure "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)" is selected and "Block third-party cookies" is off.

In Firefox, you open up the browser then:

  • go to "Tools",
  • select "Options",
  • under "Privacy", select "Accept cookies from sites", hit "Ok".

In Internet Explorer, you open up the browser then:

  • go to "Tools",
  • select "Options",
  • under "Privacy" move the settings slider to "Medium" or lower, hit "Ok".

*If using any other browser, just check out the “Help” section in that particular browser.
